About Barry D. Luskey, MD

Dr. Barry Luskey is a graduate of Stanford University in Stanford, Calif. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. Dr. Luskey completed fellowships in hematology and oncology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Mass. During fellowship, Dr. Luskey pursued basic research in gene therapy at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute at Children’s Hospital in Boston. Dr. Luskey has extensive experience in clinical research endeavors, focusing primarily on the care of hematologic malignancies. Dr. Luskey is board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology. Dr. Luskey has been in practice with Summit Cancer Care since 2000. He is a member of the American Society of Hematology, American College of Physicians, American Society of Clinical Oncology, Georgia Society of Clinical Oncology and Georgia Medical Society.
