About Christopher A. Walker, MD
Dr. Christopher Walker earned his bachelor of science degree in biology from the University of Georgia in Athens followed by his doctor of medicine at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Dr. Walker did his obstetrics and gynecology residency at Wayne State University School of Medicine/Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, Mich., where he served as academic chief resident. That was followed by a gynecologic oncology fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Walker is a member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology, International Gynecologic Cancer Society, American Association for Cancer Research, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and American Society of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Walker is certified in da Vinci Robotic surgery as well as the fundamentals of laparoscopic surgery.DISCLAIMER
