About Grant C. Lewis, MD

Dr. Grant Lewis, who joined Summit Cancer Care, P.C. in July 2009, brings to the practice the most advanced studies in cancer care. He completed his hematology and medical oncology fellowships at the Medical College of Georgia in 2009. Since then, he has been involved with several exciting new advances in the treatment of cancer and blood disorders. Dr. Lewis holds a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering from the Mercer University School of Engineering and earned his doctor of medicine degree at the Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia. Dr. Lewis completed his internal medicine internship and residency at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Dr. Lewis is board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology. He is a member of the American College of Physicians-American Society of Internal Medicine, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology and the Georgia Society of Clinical Oncology. He sees patients at the Summit Cancer Care location in the Lewis Cancer and Research Pavilion and in Statesboro.
