About James L. Walker, CNP
James “Lee” Walker earned his Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Georgia Southern College and returned to obtain his Master’s of Science degree in Nursing when it became Georgia Southern University. Lee is a board certified family nurse practitioner, a licensed register nurse by the state of Georgia and an FMCSA certified medical examiner. Lee spent many years serving as family nurse practitioner at the St. Joseph’s/Candler Primary Care Office in Metter before it closed. He joined the Statesboro office in 2025. Lee has spent the majority of career working in Bulloch and Candler counties.
