About John A. Pablo, MD

Dr. John Pablo received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Tufts University and a doctor of medicine degree from Dartmouth Medical School. He completed an internship in internal medicine and a residency in radiation oncology at Emory University Hospital. Dr. Pablo is a member of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, American College of Radiation Oncology and American Society of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Pablo currently is the medical director at the Nancy N. and J.C. Lewis Cancer & Research Pavilion Radiation Oncology Center including the Bluffton-Hilton Head location. Dr. Pablo has extensive experience with conventional simulation, CT-based simulation, 3-D treatment planning, intensity modulated radiation therapy and high- and low-dose image-guided radiation therapy. He specializes in prostate brachytherapy and stereotactic body radiosurgery. Dr. Pablo is trained in both the CyberKnife Robotic Radiosurgery System and the TrueBeam Radiotherapy system.
