About John L. Mikell, MD
Dr. John L. Mikell earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Washington and Lee University and his doctor of medicine from the Medical College of Georgia. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Emory University School of Medicine and his residency in radiation oncology at Emory University School of Medicine, where he was chief resident. Dr. Mikell is a member of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiation Oncology, Georgia Medical Society, American College of Radiology and American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). Dr. Mikell is both trained in the CyberKnife Robotic Radiosurgery System and the TrueBeam Radiotherapy system.DISCLAIMER
