About Stephen J. Ramey Sr., MD

Dr. Stephen Ramey earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Furman University in Greenville, SC. He received his doctor of medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He did a preliminary intern year in internal medicine also at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston followed by a residency in radiation oncology at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Fla. Dr. Ramey is a member of the American Radium Society, American Society for Radiation Oncology, American Society for Clinical Oncology and American Brachytherapy Society. Dr. Ramey is trained in both the CyberKnife® Robotic Radiosurgery System and the TrueBeam Radiotherapy system. He is licensed to practice medicine in both Georgia and South Carolina.
